during the scorching hours (11 am to 3 pm).
Ø  Wear light, light-colored clothes
and use a hat or umbrella.
Ø  Seek medical help immediately if you
suffer from heatstroke.

Heavy rain likely in 7 districts for 3 days from
today; Chennai Meteorological Department information
The
heat has been increasing in most districts in Tamil Nadu for the past few days.
The temperature in some districts has crossed 100 degrees Fahrenheit. At the
same time, light rain was recorded in some districts including Coimbatore.
In
this situation, the Chennai Meteorological Department has said that there is a
possibility of heavy rain in 10 districts in Tamil Nadu today (April 2). The
Meteorological Department has said in this regard;
Accordingly,
heavy rain will occur in 10 districts namely Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tiruppur,
Erode, Dindigul, Theni, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sivaganga, and Tenkasi.
Tomorrow
(April 3) there is a possibility of heavy rain in 12 districts namely Nilgiris,
Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar,
Sivagangai, Tenkasi, Nellai and Kanyakumari.
On
April 4, there is a possibility of heavy rain in 13 districts namely Nilgiris,
Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar,
Tenkasi, Thoothukudi, Kanyakumari and Nellai.
On
April 5, there is a possibility of heavy rain in 9 districts namely Coimbatore,
Nilgiris, Erode, Theni, Dindigul, Tenkasi, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri and Salem.
Overall,
there is a possibility of heavy rain for 3 days starting today (April 2) in 7
districts of Tamil Nadu: Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Theni,
Dindigul, and Madurai.
