Himachal Pradesh Landslides – Details Date: July 6 to July 9, 2025 Landslides occurred in several areas at the highest frequency, July 7, 3:30 AM – Shimla district, July 8, 5:15 PM – Mandi district, July 9, 7:00 AM – Solan and Kullu areas. Flooding and landslides have been occurring continuously in Himachal since July 5 due to heavy rains. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Red Alert.

Landslides have occurred in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh due to continuous heavy rains. The government has confirmed that 38 people have died till July 9. Shimla, Solan, Mandi, Kullu, Sirmour and Kangra districts have been badly affected. Schools and colleges have been closed. National Highways have been completely cut off at some places. NDRF, SDRF and Army are actively involved in the rescue operations.
