How to Check EPF Balance

You can check your EPF balance using the following methods:

Via UMANG App:	Via EPFO Portal (Without UAN Login)
·       Download the UMANG App (available on Android & iOS). ·       Open the app & log in with your registered mobile number. ·       Go to EPFO Services → Employee Centric Services → View Passbook. ·       Enter your UAN (Universal Account Number) & OTP to view the balance.	·       Visit https://passbook.epfindia.gov.in/MemberPassBook/Login. ·       Enter your UAN & password to log in. ·       View and download your EPF passbook.
Via SMS:	Via Missed Call:
Send EPFOHO UAN ENG to 7738299899 from your registered mobile number. Replace ENG with your preferred language code (e.g., HIN for Hindi).	Give a missed call to 9966044425 from your registered mobile number. You’ll receive an SMS with your EPF balance details.

How to Withdraw EPF Funds (Latest Update: UPI & ATM Withdrawals Coming Soon)

New Feature: EPFO is introducing direct withdrawals via UPI & ATM by mid-2025. Until then, follow these methods:

Online PF Withdrawal (Fastest Method)	Offline PF Withdrawal (For Non-Tech Users)
Ø  Log in to the EPFO Member Portal: https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/ Ø  Click on ‘Online Services’ → ‘Claim (Form-31, 19 & 10C)’. Ø  Verify your bank details & Aadhaar. Ø  Choose the reason for withdrawal (Retirement, Medical, Marriage, etc.). Ø  Submit the claim & get an OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile. Ø  The claim is processed in 5-7 working days.	Ø  Download Form 19 (for full withdrawal) or Form 31 (for advance withdrawal) from Ø  Fill in the details, attach your Aadhaar & bank details, and submit them to your regional EPFO office. Ø  The amount is credited to your bank within 10-15 days.

How to Transfer PF Online (Auto-Transfer Now Available!)

New Feature: EPFO now auto-transfers your PF when you change jobs! If not auto-transferred, follow these steps:

A.    Log in to EPFO Member Portal. B.    Go to ‘Online Services’ → ‘One Member – One EPF Account (Transfer Request)’. C.    Enter your old & new employer details (UAN must be linked to Aadhaar).
