 Easter is one of the most important festivals for Christians around the world. It commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, as described in the New Testament of the Bible. Celebrated after a 40-day period of Lent, Easter is a symbol of hope, renewal, and the victory of life over death.

When is Easter celebrated?

Easter does not fall on the same date every year. It is celebrated on the first Sunday after the full moon that occurs on or after March 21. The date can vary from March 22 to April 25. This year it is celebrated in April 2025.
